Undergraduate students interested in pursuing this dual degree option are eligible to begin taking graduate courses during the first semester of their junior year and can take up to 12 graduate education program credits that will count towards both their undergraduate and graduate degrees. Once the student has reached the 12-credit limit, they will only be able to take graduate courses towards program completion after they have completed their undergraduate degree.
To be eligible to take graduate education courses, students will first need to complete the dual degree application.
Application Process
Current Goucher undergraduate students interested in pursuing a B.A./M.Ed. 4+1 program need to complete the dual degree application.
Once the application has been completed, the graduate admissions office will review the application and inform the applicant of the decision and appropriate next steps. Application review will be conducted within 3-5 business days.
